Bio: Best known for his work with Marcie (Armada Artist Spotlight: Link, Beatport Artist Page: Link) on the radio show Behind the Lyric, GarthIvan has been mixing interviews and tracks from some of the biggest names in dance for several years now. The show can be heard on DI.fm, Afterhours.fm and many others.

As a DJ (www.GarthIvan.com), his own mixes incorporated a passion for travel and his successful "Transatlantic" radio series was featured on evolved.fm radio.

Created over the course of 2 years in London, Cambodia, Switzerland and at home in the USA, GarthIvan's first artist album "Departure" is an electronic love letter to music and travel. Comprised of 10 tracks of chillout, progressive house and trance, the album itself is a journey and made just as much for listening to on the sofa as the dance floor.

It is the result of a DJ with a bad case of wanderlust trying to evolve himself into an artist and producer of songs that capture a life a little less ordinary. Whether recording at a temple in Ta Phrom or working on a tune through the humid night in Phnom Penh, all of the songs on "Departure" are snapshots of a moment in time from someplace very far away.
